We launched the year with a trip to Hawaii—not exactly wine country though there are vines on the islands—but we took over a selection of vinhos for a big birthday, and found a few Portuguese and Chilean favorites on Oahu. Since then, we’ve also hit the road to North Carolina and visited our friends at Wine Authorities in Durham, introduced to us by the folks at Quinta de Sant’Ana in Mafra whose wines feature well on their shelves.
